Take you first run on a bluebird, south west with varible winds. 5-10 or less. you'll be ok. Just tag along with someone from your marina to be safe.
Radio and gps are a must.

Out of Hatteras, go for it. Watch the wind !!!!. I fish a 23' CC with a 200 Johnson out of Morehead and a trip to the Rock is about 42 miles one way. Back at the marina usally 70-75 gals to fill back ...

what is the actual % of road tax you get back? Is it a good amount or should I belive the gorvernment still keeps most of it?
