Winners:
1st place king: Miles Bunn / Rod Hog / 17.9

2nd place king: Steve Marshburn / ?/ 16.0

1st place largest fish: Henry Moore / Bobcat / 29.9 Cobia

2nd place largest fish: Jerry Edwards / Outcast / 18.4 Cobia

We had 21 boats entered with a total purse of $1100.00.

Thanks to New River Marina and Power Marine Outfitters for the 50 gallons of gas and handheld Vhf radio they donated. Also for hosting the tournament and the weigh in.

The next tournament date is Labor Day, Sept. 3. If there is interest among any to do one prior to then, send me an email and we will throw it together real fast. We would need to have at least 15 boats to organize one before that date. I will attach the flyer for the upcoming event on Labot Day or get it posted on here some how. PM me with your email and I will send it out.

I was planning on fishing the Cape Fear Blue Marlin Tournament depending on the offshore forecast, if not I may fish the got-em-on.
It is time for a new truck, may give you a call over the next few days. I assume you are still at Capital.
