I have a set of old lee outriggers, model AP318. Problem is they split about a foot between the first and second sections. Only the first section is split. Lee no longer sells the 1.25" OD tubbing for the first section. Not sure I want to spend too much on them and really don't want to buy new ones if I don't have too. Any help or thoughts?

If they aer SS you can TIG weld them but if Aluminum I would bite the bullit and buy new ones ,they won't cost much more than welding them.

Thanks,

I am headed down tonight to mess with them. I may cut out the bad section on one and weld back the base section. Funds are a lil low today. I
