Greetings All,
We spent a Chilly Weekend playing in the pond. The fishing was good. The seas were .....OK?.....

We started off the trip with a BEAST....

This thing went several hundred pounds. We discussed boating it (The wings are very good to eat) but could not figure out a way to get it out of the water. 3 of us could not pick it up. IT was a BIG boy.

Overall the fishing was picky. The water has cooled a lot in the last couple weeks. We would sit on the fish....nothing.....move...sit...nothing. We finilly got it going on through sheer determination.

Grouper and Beeliners were the name of the game.

It went on all night. At about 2 am though it got COLD! Real Cold. From 2 till sunup I think I only had about 5 people on the rail fishing. They were catching but they were some chilly fellows.

Once the sun came up most of them got back to it.

We added some Triggers to the menu...

Now comes the BAD part....I FUBARed the camera settings when we got back to the dock and every picture I shot came out messed up. They were too bright.

You get the idea.

All the pics can be seen here....

Our next trip is
March 17 - 18th 11:00am Sat to 11:00am Sun

Quit Wishing and Come Fishing on the Continental Shelf!

Dave
