Greetings All,
We were blessed with a Pretty day for offshore fishing Saturday before the wind picked up and shifted around. We left the dock at 6:00am to a FLAT smooth ocean.

First drop of the day and look what poped up.

The entire morning the BIG GROUPER were chewing but Bee-Liners and other fish would just Pick at it. A few fish here and a few fish there.

Then we caught another one of THESE nasty ol things.

Lion Fish SUX! and his a BIG one.....

OK...BAck to the Grouper...

This last one was pushing 30 lbs.....

The wind picked up about 12:00 and the bottom fish bite was on. All in all it was a GREAT day on the water but I bet the ride home was a little bumpy in a small boat.

Tally on the day.....4 State Citations (Over 20 lbs), 1 more Iffy State Citation and 2 in the high teens. Plenty of Beeliners and Triggerfish to fill out the catch.

You can see all the pics from the trip here....

Our next trip is a Day trip Saturday April 21st leaving the dock at 6:00am. Call 800-775-7450 to book your spot.

Dave

They will put an ugly sting on you so be careful when handling them. You should also report them here....
