I live in Greensboro, NC and am looking for a place to keep my boat (216 Sea Fox CC TTop) at the beach. Prefferably at a marina so I don't have to pull it in and out of the water. Also looking for a campground that offers camper storage. I don't have a particular location in mind but I don't want to drive over 4 hours to get there. Any suggestions? Hopefully I will be able to spend more time fishing if I don't have to drag that boat to the beach and back.

I live in Greensboro too. Bought a camper last year and I keep it at Whispering Pines outside of Morehead City. Very nice campground, friendly people and good facilities ( new office, pool, bathhouse, laundry, wireless internet, full hook-ups at each site w/water,sewer, electric & cable TV ). They are expanding the campground but I don't know if they have any sites currently open. You can check their website for contact info, rates, etc. Depending on the size of the lot, you may be able to keep your boat there. My lot's not big enough to do so but my neighbor keeps his 22' CC on his. Several other guys there do the same. There's also a storage facility across the street from the campground that I know some guys use. I have a 24' Robalo WA that I keep in the rack at Portside Marina. I really like it there, right off of the no-wake zone in downtown Morehead. Again, not sure if they have any space but you can call & check. This time of year you may have a tough time finding space at the marinas. When I was looking in the spring, it took me awhile to find an open spot. Takes me about 3 hrs 45 min to get to the campground from where I live in GBO ( Adams Farm ).

Hope this is helpful. PM me if I can be of further assistance.

I live 5 miles from the Ocean Isle Beach boat ramp I will cut you a deal to leave em in my back yard!

Seriously, there are several marinas in the area that have dry storage. One that comes to mind is Pelican Point.

Also there are a number of camp grounds in the area. I think one is called Shallotte Point Camp ground but i may not have the name correct.

Goto switchboard.com and search for campgrounds and marinas in the following areas, Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Sunset Beach and Shallotte. These areas are within about 20 Miles of each other and I feel sure there is something her for you!
