27' Contender 1996 hull, 2001 200 HPDI's with only 600 hrs on them. White hull, black bottom. No bottom paint. In 2006 I upgraded the boat with a new Gore T top W/ 8 rod holders, top gun out riggers, curtains, Electronics, 50 gal live well leaning post w/ 4 rod holders and tackle storage, Motor Wedges, linco trim tabs and much more. Just thinking about a smaller boat. This is the best fishing boat I have ever had, but Alot of my boating is inshore with my wife and kids. We need to do a trip to the stream or bottom fishing sometime soon.

Very Fuel efficient for a 27 boat.
I've run this same setup 50nms out and bottom fished all day
and burned less then 70 gallons.With 5 adults on board.

This boat is very good on fuel. I can run from CB to Southport to catch bait, then to The Fairway and slow troll all day, and back to Carolina Beach on 55 gals of gas. I can bottom fish 25 miles out on 38 gals.
