Tried for years to figure out how to install a bow trolling motor on my 22 ft. Dauntless but can’t without a lot of pain so I am going with trim tab motors. I realize pulling is better than pushing but don’t want to go through the many reason why the bow mounted option won’t work.

Does anyone have a preference between Lenco or Minn Kota and is it even worth the expense ($1,800) approx.

Also does anybody have a recommendation on who I could purchase from and install. Thanks for your feedback. Sweetroels

The only thing I can saw about the trolling tabs is that I liked the bow mount better. But it wont work for you. Minnkota has been making some fine trolling motors for years and I have one that is an 82 model and several more over 12 years old.
