Offshore Fishing Reports - Trim tab trolling motors - Tried for years to figure out how to install a bow trolling motor on my 22 ft. Dauntless but can’t without a lot of pain so I am going with trim tab motors. I realize pulling is better than pushing

I would like to Thank The Administration and users of this site. Being a new member is exciting, especially as I live quite a distance from your home fishing grounds. My wife and I are in the transition from living in the snow covered mountains of Pennsylvania, to living in the Beaufort area. I spend my time fishing the waters off off New Jersey and Long Island, however, I cut my saltwater teeth fishing out of Cape Charles Va. at a very young age. I spent the winter chasing Giants out off Beaufort, and found the southern charm and hospitality to be amazing. We have been searching the Atlantic coast for a place that was as friendly as the rural mountains in which I have spent my life in , and your area is the place. Looking forward to participating in the forums, and posting some reports from afar. I also Captain the Fin Finder out of Beaufort Morehead Yacht Club, and will be on the water in a couple days chasing wahoo , yellowfins, and assorted ground fish for a week. Thanks again for a great site, and be kind to the Yankee ! Very Happy

The more I roam around the site, the more I like what I see. The reefcast and supermap are awesome features. I hope the weather will be getting settled down as I will be down wed. and hope to head towards big rock on thurs before first light. Right now it is looking a bit sketchy so we may be bottom bouncing. When do the first cobia start to show their tasty heads ?

The truck is loaded and I am on my way down for a week of fishing. I hope to have the boat readied for battle tomorow, and hit the Big Rock area at first light on thursday. I will be running a 33 Dawson Convertible , " Fin Finder", out of Beaufort Morehead Yacht Club. Hope to see ya on the water and tight lines to all. Smile

I have spent some time around Altoona and the "World Famous Horseshoe Curve". The people I met there were terrific. Any way welcome to the area and to this site. There are lots of great people and some super information to be had here. I hope you enjoy NC.
