Hello all,
Fished Friday afternoon, was a little bumpy with the afternoon SW winds but we fished around the Liberty ship and was rewarded with a mix of bluefish and seabass, fun afternoon.

Saturday morning fished with a few friends, we went to the place that the bonitos have prefered for the last couple of years, Divers Rock. Got there shortly after daybreak to find a few commercial boats and private boats working the area. We started pulling a mix of #2 planer with a #1 Clark spoon and a few Yozuri deep divers. It did not take long for the mix to start to work, picked away at them for a little while on both the Yozuris and the planer then when we had a few in the box started to drift and jig and fly fish for them. As the outgoing tide made up better the fish really started to work better, as the morning wore on schools would start to bust on top. We actually did better on the dirty side of the tideline. Wound up keeping seven fish in the 4-7lb range. The fish were caught on Hopkins, Maria's, as well as the deep divers and Clark spoons. I had 4 on a crystal flash clouser and a 350 grain sink-tip. And the best part.....ONLY ONE BLUEFISH!
Thanks, Ice Cream Man for supplying the boat!
