Offshore Fishing Reports - line directly to king rig swivel. - I always use a swivel snap to connect to my king rigs. Are there any thoughts about tying right to the barrel swivel on the king rig? It seems like the less tackel in the water the better.

Yes a shaved head would count. Your head must be shaved on the day of entry and stay shaved thoughout the tournament.
