Warm days and nights have raised surface water temps. to 66 degrees. Inshore trout are hitting soft plastics on falling tides and live baits in the main channels. Reds short of the slot are in the upper creeks and along structure in the ICW. The main focus this time of year is on flounder. Biggest flounder are south in Cherry Grove (Hog Inlet). Due to that areas smaller volume of water and shallow depths, the water warms quickest.
Remember to report illegal netting and good fishing.
