Hello all,
Sorry that I am the worst for putting up pictures, the last ones were put up by a friend.
Had a regular client today who I put onto a nice handful of bonito today mixed with bluefish and sea bass. We fished offshore of the 5 mile boxcars, had the fish on Maria jigs and trolling Yozuri deep divers. Was a slow start to the day and was getting ready to run to the 10 mile when we saw the first school on top. Stayed about a mile offshore and trolled and cast to the breaking schools. All the other boats we saw stayed inside around the can and the reef and did very little. At times we would have 2 schools going off right around the boat. we did the best by holding over the structure and waiting for the bonito to show, shut the engine down when we were on them.
