those are light/jiggin type rods. dubbs has trevala, smith and barefoot. ive seen a few penn torques explode. im sticking w/trevalla right now, i broke 2 but lifetime warranty, tex swapped them out no questions. I got me an accurate reel on the way, its backorderd!!! cant wait fot it to get here, we might hit the navy wreck soon. would love to have b4 then, GIANT aj's here i come.
my main reel right now is the saltiga 30t, its a nice peice of machinery. you should try out some of that smaller size, high drag capacity reels, i will never pick up a 4/0 for bottom fishing again. if we go sometime i'll let you catch a few fish on it. man i wish my accurate was here!

i was talking about penn jiggin rods, sorry for the confusion. them torques are good reels, jackson and schnieder are using those, mike pulled up a giant tiger, 12' long, and i thought something was going to give, ended up straightening a big guage grouper hook. he pushed the tackle to the limit and it held. you will enjoy them. sorry matthew, seems like i highjacked your thread. i will pm you instead
