i will second that.....we just bought 4 butterfly rod combos from them and they were the best by far...the price isnt even close to what we seen everywhere else.....and we checked from surf city to shallotte....

Depends on the reel size but new they run 115.-150 for the reel only.i build my own rods for that so i don't know about those

Those are the same reels just newer models. I have a 950 and so far it's holding up great. Penn gives you alot of bang for the buck because they don't have set prices like Shimano and the parts are a lot cheaper IF you ever need them.
