Yeah Right, who's life.
I have the 101 Lenco actuators on my boat and had trouble with one about 4 months after the warranty ran out. I called their service department and was told that it could not be repaired and my only option was to replace which I did. After I installed the new one I decided to tear apart the old. When I opened it water poured out and the motor looked like a ball of rust. I cleaned everything up, got all of the pieces of rust out of the gears and siliconed it back together. It doesn't sound as good as the new one but now I have a spare. You would think that they would be able to repair them if they wanted to and if one fails due to water being inside that they should warranty it. Their add does say Sealed For Life. I'm not too disgruntled just came at a bad time to dish out $130. _________________ Tommy Stewart

..That kindof crap still pisses ya off and undermines the way we do business.. It's a real pain havin to assume someone's fulla crap about their product when ya know good-and-well that there's actually a few who actually do stand behind them.. We hafta support those "good guys" all we can.. d:^) Schneeky.. _________________ Communicate & Adapt Diggit.?

I hear you John. We're thinking about going down this weekend but the weather doesn't look good enough for me. My sister's trying to open a discount store across from Yopp's marine and she'll probably work me all weekend if I go down. She's bought several pallets of stuff from stores that have closed down and will have all kinds of stuff. (personal items, paper products, some groceries and candy) _________________ Tommy Stewart

I purchased my tabs from River Marine, Used the boat 4 times and had the led switch stop working, I was highly upset because it went out so soon.
I called them up, told them the switch was bad, the sent me a whole new kit and I mailed them back the broken switch and everything is great. The led display is great, and the auto/up feature when the ignition is turned off. I would recommend trim tabs to those of you who are on the fence. My boat is only 20ft, and they make a huge difference.
