Jimmy Sanderson is in Swansboro, would be worth the extra distance. He does great work. His number is 252-393-5051.

Give Andy Mckee a call, he just did some very good work on my Cape Horn at a very reasonable price. Boat was In and Out in 4 days.

He is located in Bolivia NC, in Brunswick County.

I highly recommend him.

HAHA, sounds great. Somehow the lip of the bow got caught on the steel bracket that the roller sits on when I was launching this weekend and put a 3" rip in the fiberglass. So I am in definite need of some repair work.

Try Jim's Paint and Fiberglass, on Market Street in Ogden where those boat warehouses are between the McDonald's and the Highway Patrol Station. He fixed the Grady after someone hit us last year. You can't even tell it happened. He works for Crocker's if you can't find him in the phone book.

You might want to give Steve Ely a try. He and his wife do great work and they are out of Carolina Beach. He has done several jobs for me and I would use him again. Also he is very mobile and his prices are reasonable. His phone number is 910-458-5866 .

SheaD,

Might as well go to Crocker's showroom and look at a new one, an after-pic would look the same. That picture above doesn't reveal the true extent. The damage extended through the transom door and into the deck liner. The top cap was cracked past the first rod holder and the transom to the waterline. When Jim matched the gel coat only someone who knew that the boat was hit could see only the smallest color change and then if you looked with the light just right. You certainly cannot see any pattern difference in the non-skid or the diamond pattern in the deck.

Boat sits at Inlet Watch. Send me a message and I can arrange for you to see the repair Jim did.
