Just wanted to let you guys know that a great group of people meet every 3rd Tuesday of each month in Lumberton and talk fishing. (SEAS) South East Anglers Saltwater Club.
I was contacted by Gary Locklear a couple of weeks back and he asked if they could run a raffle for a charter on my boat to raise money for their new fishing club. It was an honor to be asked and I had an opportunity to attend their meeting last night talk to the group and watch the raffle get pulled.
It was very impressive that so many people attended the meeting as they are all just good friends sharing information, learning and planning things to do as a group this summer. Very laid back and in-formal.
If any of you guys live up that way stop in and check out their group and talk a little fishing. _________________ Ricky Holden
It meets at Ryans Steak House at 7 PM in one of the meeting rooms to the far left when you enter Ryan's. I don't know if that's a permanent location. There was a pretty big group in attendance.

Moving to Lumberton in a month and was hoping to find a fishing club.Thanks for the post. Moving from Savannah with my 21 Bay Boat and having never fished here ,any info would sure help get me started learning the local program. I am also interested in finding fishing partners either their boat or mine. Thanks again
