| Just wonderin who out there is like me and does'nt miss an episode of this show. These guys are my heroes, they fish in any weather and act like there's nothin to 30 foot seas. My favorite is the Hansen brothers on the Northwestern. Anyway I haven't been able to get out this year yet, but hopin that will change soon. Good fishin and God bless. |

My son and I love to watch DC.
It's addictive - especially when you're landlocked.... _________________ The secrecy of my work prevents me from knowing what I am doing... |

Love the show but feel guilty now everytime I order crab legs.....
How about the episode this year where the greenhorn smashed his finger and then pokes a hole in his nail with a hot needle? Ouch!!! _________________ Tim |

I love it...Phil's my Hero!
They have big ass seas....but the they have big ass period to them too.
A 30 foot sea 30 secs apart is not that big.
The Northwestern is 20-30 foot bigger than the Shelf....That is SMALL! _________________ Capt. Dave

| I watch every episode and DVR them when I'm away... even get a little amped about the re-runs. Sig and Edgar are hardcore. What kills me is how these guys stay at it for so long without rest and can still function... 24-30 hours at a time. I go out and crank bottom fish in 75 degree weather for 7-8 hours and at the end of the day I barely have enough energy to fart.... looks like a very challenging job but I'd love to try it! |

I never miss an episode either, very entertaining show to say the least.
They crab in extreme conditions, but like Dave said about swell distance and boat size, 15ft seas on a 110ft boat can be a very calm day in their business.
With that being said - I don't have any desire to be a 45 year old Greenhorn, like some of them guys do.
I heard on the radio that the Captains will be in North Carolina again this year fishing with John Boy (John Boy and Billy Big Show) on his boat the DUH-HUH. I have not heard what dates but if possible I plan to try to meet them. _________________ Ricky Holden
