Just a note on Shallotte Inlet we left the inlet Friday and returned at very low tide and boaters beware.Make sure when you come in or go out to hug the OI side of the inlet. At low tide depth in the very center of the inlet looked to be around 6". The OI side depth was runninig 5-8ft. You will notice waves breaking the shoalling in the center of the inlet about 100yds inside the mouth of the inlet. Safe boating!!
