29' Center Console
This would make a good project boat as it needs a lot of work.
The boat has some sort of fiberglass bracket with a bulky stainless bracket mounted over that. It is a bad set-up and is heavy. I would definately go with a new bracket.
Not sure about the status of the transom, I have never had any issues from it. I did have some water drip out of each of the outside screw holes when I removed the trim tabs.
The floor is soft and would definately need to be replaced. The fuel tank has a leak, not sure if it is the tank itself or what. I planned on cutting the floor and removing this to have it fixed and sell. But, I would be willing to leave the floor in tack and tank in if needed. One of the main issues with the boat is that the fuel tank sits directly on the
structural supports with no padding or anything, this is probably what caused the leak. It is a 155 gallon aluminum tank.
The console set-up is a strange one. The console is one big piece. This goes below the floorline so you can step down into the console and stand up inside it. It was not attached to the floor, just sealed around it. I suspect the console may not even be attached to anything, rather just sitting in there between the structural supports.
Things that I was planning on taking out if I was giving away the hull for free but would be willing to leave in for a price:
> > -fuel tank (155 gallon aluminum)
> > -fresh water tank (I would guess 30-50 gallons, floor would need to be cut to remove)
> > -tinted window hatch in top of front cabin (these go for around $300)
> > -t-top (the t-top has two cracks in it
> > -hard top - The hard top is probably no good but could be used as a guide for a new one.)
> > -7 Piece Curtain Set (very nice)
> > -bow rail
> > -SSI tackle storage locker
> > -other various hatches, rodholders, and hardware
> > -rub rail
> > -fresh water hose and switch combo
(pretty much the only hardware that would be left on the boat if given away for free would be the console and cabin doors, rub rail, drain plugs, docking lights, and some pie hole access plates)
I'm probably forgetting a few things but this should give you a pretty good idea about the boat
I willing to give the hull to someone for free that can pick it up in Wilmington, NC. The above mentioned parts can be sold along with the boat for $1,500.
The boat should be ready for pick up around the middle of June, depending if I need to take all the above of the boat or if someone buys the parts with the hull. _________________ Haul-In |

I was told it was built in Florida, not sure of the make. Will need to be titled and registered as a home-built. _________________ Haul-In |

Deposit? I thought it was "free"?? LOL
Nice going, I knew it wasn't gonna last - kinda knew being second in line wasn't gonna cut it! |
