Last I heard there were smallies down south, but has anyone seen any schools of menhaden with any size north of williams landing?? wrightsville/topsail?

I heard they were in the river. But that was a few weeks ago. Saw it on Carolina Coastal fishing report.

They are still thick in the river, just past and around the State Park.
