ON THE 16 WE HAD A TROLLING TRIP FOR SPANISH MACKERAL WITH THE GROUP FRON TENN. MIKE KING BROUGHT DOWN. WE GOT RIGHT TO WORK ON THE MACKERAL AND HAD OUR 90 IN A 2 HOUR PEROID.THEY WERE MIXED IN SIZE TODAY. WE ALSO CAUGHT A COUPLE OF BLUEFISH TO ACOMPANY THE SPANISH. THEN TO THE SHARKS WE WENT IT WAS SLOW THE FIRST 20 MINUTES, BUT GOT TO GOING WITH THE ALANTIC SHARPNOSE HITTING ABOUT EVER 10 MINUTES. WE GOT OUR LIMIT ON THEM PERTTY QUICKLY. WE ONLY GOT ONE BLACKNOSE TO HIT IN THE 2 HOURS WE FISHED FOR SHARKS THIS MORNING, AND IT LOOKED TO BE ABOUT 45 POUNDS , BUT MANAGED TO GET OFF BEFORE WE GOT THE GAFF IN ITS MOUTH AND ON BOARD TO MEASURE TO SEE IF IT WAS A KEEPER. BUT LOTS OF FUN AND PLEANTY OF FISH TO FEED THE 19 PEOPLE THEY HAD DOWN A COUPLE OF TIMES. GOOD DAY CAPT: BUSTER

THE 2008 SEASON IS UNDER WAY AND THE FISHING IS MUCH BETTER THAN LAST SEASON SO FAR, ITS THE END OF MAY AND WE HAVE ALREADY CAUGHT OVER 300 SPANISH MACKERAL IN JUST THE PASS WEEK OF FISHING, ALONG WITH SEVERAL LARGE SHARKS IN THE 50 TO 80 POUND CLASS.
