Hey guys. At the risk of sounding like a suck-up (when it's really just that little bit of Jack Daniels I've been sipping for the first time in a while), we should all be embarrassed by the lack of financial support we're giving the folks who run this place. Hell, they don't ask for much. O.K. I'll shut up and go tie some rigs. Catch 'em up! _________________ Phil

Right on Phil. I'll back you on that and chip in a Fifty. Any other Grady owners out there? _________________ Making Progress

This Grady owner is right behind the Old Cabdriver on the list. I would have still been in a Jon boat in the creek if it wasn't for this site. _________________ Bob

I'm pretty sure all three of the guys above probably don't need to worry to much about "deals" . I don't know what a 306 bimini cost's but I know its more than my house.

Gee, JimShady -- now you've gone and made me feel guilty about working for for 44 years and savin' up so I could fish from a nice, safe boat in my retirement. Nah ... on second thought, I don't feel guilty. I'm havin' too much fun enjoying what I earned. Come fishin' with me sometime! _________________ Phil

Phil, not my intention at all. I'm a young buck here, but I've been working steady for the past 13 years ( 29 now) been to Iraq and probably be going back. I enjoy what I do, that being said I raise a family of 5 on a single income to try and maintain my vision of "family values". I have dreams of being able to afford a "big" boat when I retire, somehow I think Gas prices will prevent that reality though our society is rapidly running those resources in the dirt. I'm glad you are enjoying your investment, you should as you said you earned it. As for fishing on it , I couldn't even afford a share of the gas that bad boy would burn. Enjoy and post some pictures for us Po' Folks to enjoy
Don't worry, at 29 most of us couldn't afford a 30 ft Grady! It will happen in due time if that becomes a priority. I'm hoping the gas price thing is a bubble that will burst sooner than later. Jimmy Carter was screwing up the country when I was your age and it all seemed to work out over time. Your day will come. And since no one else said it yet.....thanks for your service to our country whether its at home or in Iraq.

Jim,
With the way the prices are droping on those big Grady's, Yellowfin's, Southport's, etc, you ought to be able to buy one for around the price of a Caro Skiff by the time you get back from Iraq. This gas thing is getting serious.
Thanks for your service and be safe!!!!
Cabdriver, agree with you about helping the site out!!!
