My buddies fell through for fishing Friday morning. I'm looking for 1-2 people to go fishing 10-20 miles out for dolphin, king fish, etc. I will be putting in at the Surf City Ramp about 6am.
I have a 20 Ft SeaCraft and only ask for splitting the cost of gas.
This will be one of my last times getting out on the water fishing before I deploy overseas shortly and would rather not go fishing alone. |

If you do go out, go to 23 rock or ledge. Hooked a nice king today over there. Good luck _________________ "Reelaxin"

| I'm going to have to get out early to beat the crowd. I usually stay off the water on July 4th, but friday looks like the best day for fishing so i'm heading out early. |

| Well, I couldn't find anyone to go out with. I know it's late but i will be at the Surf City boat ramp around 615 to 630. If anyone wants to go be down there at that time and when you see a silver dodge pickup towing a white 20 ft SeaCraft jump on the boat to go fishing. |

I ended up going out by myself. It was a little rough. The south swell and wind made it one wet ride heading out. I made it out to AR362 and trolled for two hours and got nothing. I only heard one guy out there catch a king. Heard someone say they got a king and a dolphin at 366 but overall it was one slow day. I ended up coming back in around 1pm and getting off the water to avoid all the crazy boaters that come out on July 4th.
The fishing season is pretty much over for me in NC. I'm going to be gone the rest of July on an exercise preparing to deploy. I'll go out one more time in early August if the weather is good before I take the truck and boat down to my folks place in Florida to store it while I'm deployed.
Damn this windy spring, lol. |
