FYI
THe Blackberry was repositionong markers in the inlet today, 7/29. I'd like to thank them very much for pulling all 4 of the outer markers first and only laying down #3 and 4 in the new inlet. Fortunately we were able to follow the reverse of our track line in.
The new path out of the inlet looks to be north of the left hand shoal on your way out. They hadn't finished in time but I'd guess when you round the first green marker at the tip of Masonboro Island instead of a 125 it is probably going to be 90 degree heading now.
Anybody who has it marked as route, like me, for running it in the dark should take a test run through the new channel in the daytime. This one was no minor dredging of the old inlet. It has moved entirely. _________________ Grady White 282 Sailfish
