I could sum up this WHOLE fishing report in 2 words...BUTT WHIPPING!
We had a day trip Friday that we tried to reschedule...When the Captain says pick another day....LISTEN and pick another day!
8.9 feet every 5 secs at 1:00pm raining like crap. They turned me for the hill.
Fish....Not enough to matter.
Saturday - Sunday overnight.
The first stop right off the BAT BOOM there it is.
We had it going on! Then the wind machine turned it up a couple knoches on us.....it went to pure crap.
Most of the night we just picked at it. Cold....Windy....Rough.
At sunrise the wind let up a little and we got it going on again.
I bet we had 30-40 trigger fish on this last stop. All in all that last one saved my BUTT! The folks that stayed with it all night had decent catches...
Most were either not feeling well....or running from the cold!
Sometimes you just have to make do with the conditions that the lord gives us. All in all we got'er done. I sure hope for better weather next trip.
Next Over Night trip is April 14 -15th 8:00pm Sat to 8:00pm Sun
