the owners manual told me how to do it but not how to un do it. can you blow the fogging oil out of the cylinders with compressed air while turning the engine over or is it best to work it out by turning the engine over alone ? i;m trying to prevent plug fowling on the first start up of the year.(should have already had the damn thing in the water) Mad also is it best to de fog before or after a fresh oil change or does it really matter? this is my first 4 banger and i;m trying to do everything the right way. i know some of you are as curious as i am over your engines so any help would be very much appreciated. thanks, fishhead.

FISH, IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERINCE NOT TO FOG A MOTOR, I JUST CRANK MINE WAS A MONTH EVEN IN THE WINTER, I HAVE A BLOW PORT ON MY 03 JOHNSON 115-4S EFI. AND AHTER I FLUSH WITH WATER I RUN SOME COMPRESSED AIR OR NITROGEN THROUGH IT (THATS IN THE WINTER MOPNTHS. START OF THE SEASON I CHANGE ALL OILS AND PLUGS, FILTERS .AND TAKE THE OLD SET AND KEEP ON THE BOAT, AND CYCLE THEM OUT EVERY YEAR LIKE THAT. I CALLED CHAT-LEE FOR YOU AND TALKED TO A MAN NAMED BRYAN AND HE SAID TO DC THE FUEL AND REMOVE ALL THE PLUGS, THEN CHANGE TH OIL AFTER YOU ARE DONE. THE NUMBER TO CHAT-LEE IS (919) 775-7259. BEST OF LUCK PAL.

DAVID
