I will be doing some more updates tonight. If this or that seems to be broken....Don't worry about it for the moment. I will post when I finish for the night. If something is still broken at that point....please let me know.

I just got done with a LARGE part of the Upgrade. The Main Page is down but the forums are working...

OK....We have a BUNCH of broken Modules. I know why.....the updates check everything both in and out of the database. Make sure it is the "Right" kind of stuff more or less.
I will work my way through them.
The forums seem to work....most of the custon things are broken. Would someopne be nice enough to send me a PM so we can check and see if the PM system works?

Well.....We survived. Boy what JOY JOY that was. We have a few things down. Classified Ads....Part of the calender.....Most of the Banners....
Most everything else should work as expected. If you would please....If you see anything that does not work right....LEt me know so I can fix it. there are a lot of "Things" on this site. It is hard to check them all.
Thank You for your help!
We have one more session like this to go. Then everything should be wiz-bang.

I know ya'll are wondering what I am doing tonight......?
Well....Our friend last week was from Brazil. (I caught him this morning trying his funny stuff again) My toys stopped him and made him have to HARD reboot his computer. Pay Back is a HAPPY THANG! Soooooo anyway....I installed something called IP to Country. I am working my way through BANNING the entire world except.....the US and IRAQ.
The server times out because of all the sql queries it has to run to build the tables.
I am almost done......It would be my guess after this spat of upgrades....we should be good to go for a while! YAAAAAA!

AWESOME! I wish there was something else that was even dirtier to do to our friend from Brazil.
I wonder if he's REALLY in Brazil or if he's using one of those tools that hides your IP address or makes it LOOK like it's coming from somewhere else.

Either way I got his happy butt. After the hard reboot....I bet he does not come back....until they find some other way to break in...and when they do we will find a way to fix that too.
One of the reasons you do not find many site with the level of interactivity of this one is security. Allowing ANY type of input from the end user is just a bad idea from a security standpoint. This means these type of sites require a ton of upkeep. Most folks are not willing to (or not able to ) do the work that is takes to run a show like this one.
This place has "Submit" buttons everywhere.....it takes input everywhere. You really have to watch it what you do...
Todays task is to try to get our Attachment Mod back up and running for uploading pics to the forums....I love the Attachment Mod.....but I am here to tell you it is a PAIN to install and set up.

I am going to be working on the Buoy Block tonight. (Too many people on the site to do the Attachment stuff) I am just not happy with the mouseovers. WHEN they work....they work GREAT!! They only seem to work %50 of the time.
Just thought I would let ya'll know what was up....
