The latest survey for NTI is out, and the Red Nun at the mouth of the inlet is "off station" according to Howard Varnum at the Army Corps. He said to run the centerline on the map, not the buoy markers. So what this means is the red nun is over 0.2 nm south of the inlet. Please be careful when making the journey out of the inlet. He said the problem will be corrected soon, but did not know when.

Just so erveryone knows.....I try to keep all of the inlet surveys here up to date for all the major inlets in NC. Topsails is here...

An interesting excerice is to look at all of them for one inlet at once. It is interesting to see how they change over time.
