Has anyone seen any big un's out there this winter? We came up on one January 1 05 that was every bit of 15' or better on top of the water! We thought he was dead at first. He was almost as long as my 20' boat!! When I got real close he went under so I left him alone then! We went a little way from him and started bottom fishing and 5 mins later he skyrocked out and slammed down! AWESOME!!! Wish I took his pic but we didn't think about till after he went down,we were to stunned I think! I have seen and caught a lot of sharks on my own and on the boats I used to work on, but nothing like this big'un!!! We were out of Harkers Island towards Morehead about 15 miles or so out.

I wish you had got a PIC of that too.....I would have loved to have seen it.

The biggest things I have seen are whales....and the occasional mula fish.

Those are big funny looking things. Looks like a fish a big'ol shark has taken a bite out of...
