I am getting things together. As of right now, I'm trying to set it for the 3rd. Sat.in April. This will agree with my wifes work schedule. For those of you who attended the last one you will no that she dedicates a lot of time and energy to make sure the Get Together is a success. I'm currently working on getting some donations together for some contests to raise some funds to help keep the sight top notch. If you know anyone that would be interested in making someproduct donations, please feel free to tell them to call me or give me a PM and I'll make contact with them. I will list all contributors to the cause on a thread. Thanks folks.I'll get a schedule of events together and post later this week. _________________ Steve Brantley

The 3rd Sat is April the 15th.
This should be a real good time. You guys come on out. LA has an excellent place to party. It is a waterfront Camper park in Sneads Ferry, under the bridge going onto Camp Lejune.
Ya'll come on out and join us. We will be giving out prizes from last year FPT Tournament. Doing some rigging demos. Everyone brings a covered dish....so the FOOD is excellent. We will have some very good Captains around so you guys come on out and put a face to the name and have a cold one or two will us. Mamas and children are welcome.

| I'll plan to make it. Sounds like a good ole time. The week prior I can provide daily weekend forecasts on the site. I'm not sure what it would be worth, but if you want to include a personalized offshore forecast and SST analysis as a door prize, feel free. |

At a Boy Capt Bob.
Man you can't find a better gaff than the ones Bob builds. I want me one of them Line Wizzards cause my wife's getin tired of holding those 2 LB spools. If I can free her hands up; she can fetch me more cold chilly pops and wipe the perspiration off my brows on re-line days. And if you haven't tried a Priate Plug you ain't lookin for big fish.
If your down Sanford way stop by South Chatham Takle and visit Capt Bob. You'll find out real quick he makes things. AKA Earl's Precision Machining Inc (919) 542-1869, 365 Taylors Chapel Rd, Sanford, NC 27330
http://www.southchathamtackle.com/
If I sound like a commercial, your dang right, cause he makes good stuff, can out fish me and thows a cold chilly pop my way once in a while. _________________ Garry

Hi fellow fishermen & women! I just joined your group today and want to introduce myself. I fish out of Inlet Watch on a 41 Tiara and am a member of Cape Fear Bluewater Anglers - a fine fishing club. Been at Inlet Watch about 1 month and first trip was to Frying Pan Towers mid February. Trolled for Bluefin, got Bonita (trolled that, too) ended up bottom fishing, loaded up on Black sea bass & one snapper.
Anyhow, is this get together on route 24 before the bridge to Camp Leguene? Is there a place to tie up a boat? I think there is a boat ramp there and a park eastside of bridge you can see from the bridge. I better keep this short. Thanks for the info! Look forward to meeting y'all! I enjoy reading your posts! |

Mark,
Welcome to our humble corner of the internet. I will ask Steve (Liquid Addiction) about tieing up a boat....but based on what i know about the area I would bet there is room.
Hope you enjoy the site. If you have any questions just give me a shout.

I think the road that leaves Sneads Ferry going over the bridge to the base is Hwy 172. _________________ Garry
