Got a good friend that runs a gas station. Yesterday he tells me how they recieved a letter from the home office saying that gas will be $3 by June. I guess that gives them time to think of an excuse for the price gouging.

Looks like the politicians really scared the oil executives while they had them on capitol hill recently! Maybe they just gave them permission to gouge us a little bit more in the coming months!

But really, what can we expect! They have to stick it to the tourists when school lets out , so June sounds about right for the big price increase, a lot more people will be traveling then!

I sure hope they sleep well at night dreaming about their bulging bank accounts!!

Dave you forget Dubya is an oil man also, he is on their side. He is trying his best to give America to the Arab Oil men.

I heard from a friend today who owns a "few" stations in knightdale/raleigh/cary that prices would reach $4.00 before august 31. Please tell me I'm wrong, I wouldn't fight you on it if you were right.

I'm just sick of the excuses...It's hurricane season, the prices are going up. It's winter...the demand will be high for heating oil. The prices are going up. It's summer, the demand will be up, the prices are going up. We just avoided a terrorist attack, the prices are going up. The terrorists just blew something up, the prices are going up. When exactly is the demand low. It ALWAYS seems to be "up" and the prices need to be raised!

Personally, I'm ready to wring someone's neck! Mad

I love the way they do what they do.

Last year they JACK the fuel prices up blame it on natural diasters. Set the prices for about 5 weeks at $3-$3.50 a gallon and then drop it back to $2.40 to $2.60 a gallon and hold it there. And we all get to thinkin compared to last year what a bargin.

They have a name for what they are doing its called EXTORTION. Its a crime and we let them get away with it everyday. Bush is an oil man and he is on his last term and has nothing to lose and everything to gain. If there was a chance he could get re-elected for another term this crap would not be happening at this level. Somebody should be held accountable.

If gas goes to $4.00 a gallon I will have a hell of a good deal for someone on a twin engine boat that holds 240 gallons this summer. Evil or Very Mad
