5/29/06 Dan and his son David Blackshear onboard for Memorial Day hoping to get into a good flounder bite. Well, the weather was great and the bite a little slow but consistent. We managed to land 26 flounder and kept 21 fish from 1.5 to 4lbs. Most fish today were 2lbs or better. We caught fish on both live bait and artificial. Excellent Job Guys! 5/27/06 6hr morning trip with Fred Anameier of Hubert, NC and his two sons aboard hoping to get into the flounder in the ocean... Well, with a big swell breaking across the inlet and a 25 Parker that flipped I'm glad we stayed inside today. We managed to find some good red drum fishing inside using spinnerbaits. We landed 9 red fish up to 22in. and had a 2lb flounder to the side of the boat too. We stoppped on our way in and put a few sheepshead in the boat before heading back to the dock around noon.
