you guys need to come and listen on Thursday. Teamspeak is the bomb. I-map is going to be one hell of a good source of info for everyone to use. I will be in there because I want to know more about it. Who can tell us better how to use it than the ones who help make it.... _________________ Steve Brantley

It has nothing to so with IE. TeamSpeak is it's own program. I hope to see lots of people come on out and let's talk about I-Map.

Are there certain times the server is on line? Every time I have tried to connect, I get the message Error.

Folks...Tonight is the night for the I-Map school. So get your Team Speak up and running and get ready to talk Off-Shore Fishing!
I will TRY to be around some this evening leading up to "Class Time" to help get you set up with Team Speak. The ones that are already setup if ya'll could help me that would be great. If you have a little time tonight....just idle in TS and the Text Chat Room and help anyone that comes along get theirs set up too.
I will NOT be doing any setup help during the I-Map presentation. If you join without it being setup correctly I will MUTE you as to not disturb everyone else.
It is a very easy process to setup. If you have a headset and teamspeak installed there are just a couple of settings that need to be tweaked to keep you from looping and giving everyone else an earful of feedback.
I look forward to doing this tonight and I hope to see everyone there!

Something that I ran into.....
You will want to put a Name in the Nickname field.
I put my Fryingpantower ID so that I can be identified.
If not, you will need to select Allow Server to assign a Nickname
or you may get an error and fail to connect.
See everyone at 9pm

Thanks for all the great info last night Capt Dave.
I really learned a lot about using the I-Maps and thanks for the
tip on using the www.sstcharts.com site too.
The recording ended up being 300meg but I have it for when I need to
review.

Sounds like a great tutorial. OffLine, is there any way to make the recording available to people who couldn't make it last night? I'll send you a couple bucks if you would burn it to CD and mail it. Thanks!

Brad,
I recorded it to. My plan is to edit it down and take out all the BS leaving all the good stuff. We were at it 2 1/2 hours last night.
I bet after I edit out all the pauses it can get it down to 45 mins or so. Give me a week or two with it.
