I just wanted to take a minute and say if you are in need of a new web site or you need a face lift on an old one, Captain Dave Tilley is the one to do it. The design and building process was totally painless for me, his suggestions and progressive vision enabled me to have a very easy site to maintain. I am really impressed with the ease of operation of the site I can change and move sale items around with ease.
I especially wanted to thank you Dave for the hard work you did on getting my products and site recognized in the market place, I don’t think any other web builder would have gone above and beyond the way you did to make my site work.

I don't really have a store front, I sell from the web site but you certinaly can pick stuff up at the shop and save shipping anytime. I have a machine shop just north of Sanford, about 5 miles into Chatham county. You are always welcome to stop by. Give me a call when you are out and about and I will give you directions.

Bob,
Thank You for the Kind Words. I try my best and I will try my best on every site I build. Most of them are 1st page with the engines....a lot of them make it all the way to #1. Bobs Site has done real well with all the major search engines with LOTSs of #1!

If anyone needs any help.....just let me know.

Dave

Offshore Bob,

<arrrgh!> just accidentally hit "escape" and lost my entire post!

Great looking site! And kudos to Capt Dave for creating it!

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but you say you've got a machine shop in Sanford. I've got one in Clinton.

I'm curious (and if I may ask) do you do anything other than the awesome looking tackle? I do primarily replacement machine parts with some custom work thrown in occaisionally.

What kind of equipment do you have and how big is your operation? My site can be seen at the link in my sig (though I've just installed a new mill with 4th axis capabilities and haven't had a chance to get it on the site yet.) Bear in mind, I've only been in business for a few years, too Smile

Best wishes to you on continued success!

Mark

PS: Capt Dave, with your permission, I'd like to put a link to this site (FPT) on my links page....

Guys, starting at the top of this thread...... yeah, Captain Dave is the guy for building and hosting your site!!! No doubt about it.

I had purchased a domain name and paid a guy who teaches Web-site building at the local college to help me get going. He and I ... mostly he.. built the site and launched it. He and I both should have looked hard at the name. My corp name is WILD THING OUTDOORS, SC, INC. Thus the site name www.wildthingsc.com (for some reason that we didn't think about, wildthing.com was taken) I was pleased with my site until I forgot to type in the (SC) at the end of the name and before the .com. I was horrified when WILDTHING.COM popped up with a naked man on the screen. DUH!! WILDTHING!!!!!

I tried to get in touch with my domain host to change it.... not too much problem. Tried to think of a good name that no porn site might use... (my dog looked at me like I was crazy) so I named the site www.dogsfish2.com... lets see them mess that up. I worked on the site off and on, and linked to Captain Dave's Fryingpantower.com. Got to talk to him on the phone a lot about fishing. He pointed out a few site problems for me, which I corrected. I took a friend with no web site to him. He created a wonderful site for him and got him into the new age. I recently moved my site to him for hosting. A major fiasco!! I did not know that I was being hosted from Australia. It took Captain Dave's expertise (and patience) to retrieve the site. The host in Australia or their Calif affiliate dumped my email program. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT... I have nothing but praise for my present host (WHO is but a phone call away).. not to mention knows what fishing is all about and can get your site to say it. THANK YOU!! CAPTAIN DAVE TILLEY!!!!

We just moved our site over to Dave's capable hands this month.

Looking for good things and they have already started.

Would highly recommend him.

Mark I am in the country between Sanford and Pittsboro, I have several 3 axis CNC VMC's and CNC Lathe , and a Wire EDM I do Black oxide and am starting to do anodizing. I used to have a web site for the machine shop but I took it down people kept calling me to do work for them. Seriously though I do some 1's and 2's for the local industry here in Sanford and some production work that pays the bills. The rest of the time I focus on the fishing thing.
