I have 4 electric downriggers for sale. I just bought them off a friend and my wife doesn't like them because they aren't new. She said, a boat as new as ours should have new downriggers. 2 are Cannon Mag 10A's with a 4ft boom, dual rod holders, cable, depth counter, and swivel bases. The other 2 are Proos downriggers with about a 30in adjustable solid aluminum boom, cable, depth counter, and swivel bases that are universal and should fit other brands. Neither have ever been in saltwater. I wired them to a battery and they all work.
$450 for the cannons
$250 for the proos
$600 all 4 _________________ Tommy Stewart

She doesn't like them because they are not new? What the heck...?! I'm glad I'm not THAT picky - sheesh - we'd be BROKE if that were the case.

She said that newer ones would be smaller and look nicer. When I told her that the new electric ones were just as big she talked me into manuals but she does like the tournament series cannon over the regular unitrolls. The booms on the mag 10's have been painted green and part of the paint has come off. I will probably fix that before selling and one of the rod holders has 2 small chips on the top of it. Does the new swivel bases have the same bolt pattern as the older ones? If so, I might put them on the boat until they sale. _________________ Tommy Stewart
