We got to fish with Kip, George and Bill from the board today. What a day and a great crew. Plus the weather was perfect and the fish were biting. Well If we can say one thing, I guess we are consistent, eight is our number and we are getting at least one to 3 sails every trip. Been fishing a lot lately and that seems to be our point. Slick calm so I thought it would be slow Started the day with a little rip on the lt long, actually it was just a bow on the lt long. I dropped back, came tight. I'm thinking Kink Mac. About 50 yds from the boat he sticks his nose up and starts to give us a show. Very nice sail dog about 75 lbs, give him a quick release. Bills first bill fish. Picked off some kings looking for that tiger striped fury. Well we found them. Seemed they were really tight. We'd get a few bites real quick then go for about an hour before the next flurry. Had a lot of pull offs but finished the day with a pretty fair catch. 8 Hoos 3 kings and one little bitty dolphin. I can't wait to get back out there tomorrow cause .......... God I love this JOB.

Kip here , Let me just say that Rick and Shane are the best there is! I have been fishing off shore for many years on my boat and on at least 30 plus charters and to say these guys work a boat is truly an understatement. If you are looking for some cool times and an even better crew, go with them at least once and you will be back. Ole Bay Wolf can handle a Sail Dog the way it needs to be taught to every offshore fisherman, he lets the fish dictate the best way to advoid it's injury. Again guys Thank you for an absolute blast of a trip and we will see you in Dec. for the big blue monster fight. Kip Milligan  |
