Had another fun week of fishing this week, when we were able to actually get out that is.
Fished with regular client Arthur this week, started off at the jetty looking for a few blues. After a little plugging we made our way off to Dallas Rocks and it was on! First we started off by working a few schools of busting spanish, nice fish up to 2lbs eating the crippled herrings that were thrown to them. When they slacked off we started to troll a round with Yozuri deep divers, we found it tough to get very far as the spanish and schoolie kings were crushing them as soon as I could get two out, had a few double headers, fun for the one person!
Sunday found us fighting the east winds with Roger and Jeff from Durham on board. We caught a few spanish right along the beach in 15-25 ft of water, as the chop started to subside we decided to work our way out to Dallas Rocks. Trolled around Dallas with no results, dropped down to the bottom and had a few seabass and other bottom dwellers on jigs. Decided to make the run to 10 mile rock where we connected with a nice 12lb king to end the day. A real fun day on the water with a couple of great fisherman!
