It towed really well. It was a little scary as we were 14' tall but we made it. Cant wait to get it to the coast. Many thanks to jaws and Andy for all the help I'll try to make up for it with a few fishing trips.

| Jaws: are those diesels the original engines? Did you have a mechanic look the boat over before you bought it? |

| Chumpuppy, the engines only have 25 hours on them, they are rebuilt by Detroit and the blocks are new. Jerry had the boat surveyed before he bought it. He also took A friend of ours (The Bald Guy) when they done the seatrial, I was supposed to go but I had to work. Jerry done A lot of homework before he done the deal. Also got the tower to the powder coaters tonite and may be questionable getting it in the oven, but we are keeping our fingers crossed! |

| Wow! I think you guys are going to have a lot of fun with that boat. I have never ridden on a Blackfin but have always admired those hulls - deep V and heavy. |

Heck of a hull.....looks like you are stripping for a configuration change, what are your plans with it? They were built right in that vintage....even better than the newer Blackfins. _________________ World Cat 270HT..."Bite Doc" |

Gmanning,
We are just powder coating the window frames and tower we put the tarp on it because the holes for the windshield go to the cabin and were trying to keep the water out. Our goal is to have her in the water by Sept 1. I just ordered a Garmin 3210 with the new 22 sounder box and the GXM 30a for satellite weather. If any of you guys are in the Charlotte area and need electronics installed and he can find the time nobody does a cleaner job than jaws. He is also one hell of a mechanic.
Jerry
Also thanks for all the complements on the boat. |
