Here in Raeford NC I emptied the rain gauge at 5" about 7am. It is still raining but not as hard. We lost power about 3:30am and it was back on about 8am. The storm is moving pretty fast so we will be cleaning up later today....Mark

..All clear here.. I got up around 230 when the power flicked off and my CPAP shut down.. Shocked It came right back on and that was the last of that.. I stayed up and wondered around the yard takin in the the effects of a tropical storm on my current location till about 430.. It was well windy.. Not much rain.. Mostly rake work around the yard is all I really see to be done.. One branch needs some chainsaw attention and another's gonna hafta come down 'cause it stresses my cable & power in the wind..

.. Sorry those folks got their car crunched.. I reckon that's why I was seeing folks parking in open fields and such.. Glad ta hear the gang here made it thru OK.!! d:^) Schneeky..

Oak Island East Ok. Our place made it thru but Neighbor lost siding and there was flooding in front beach road. Some shingles missing. Glad it was only TS and not Cat 1 or more.

Thoughts to Capt John since IKE is hitting Turks & Caicos right about now! it does not look pretty, either...Hope you make it thru ok and friends, family, boats and livelihood are fine!
